Rear-end collision

(jd) A 32-year-old motorcyclist from Willebadessen was slightly injured in a traffic accident on Saturday (8 March) at 3.19 pm. The man was riding his Kawasaki on Herforder Straße in the direction of Exter. A 64-year-old man from Bielefeld was driving his Dacia directly in front of him. The latter braked his vehicle at the junction with Bonneberger Straße to allow an ambulance to pass. The 32-year-old did not manage to brake his motorcycle in time and hit the Dacia. The force of the impact caused him to fall onto the road and he sustained minor injuries. He was taken to a nearby hospital by ambulance. The property damage is around 2,000 euros.
